Andy is a junior at St.
Charles Preparatory High School and has played on the
high school boys volleyball team for 3 seasons.
Andy started playing volleyball during his 8th grade
year at St. Paul in 2006 and has just finished his 4th
school season of volleyball.
Andy's success didn't
come without hard work. Andy has played for
Vanguard Volleyball Club the past 2 winter club
seasons. His club team went to the National
Tournament last year and his current team has qualified
for nationals and will travel to Texas in July to
compete with the best high school players in the nation.
Also on his club team is Evan Doney, another St. Paul
alumni class of 2007. Another St. Paul alumni who
played on the 2006 8th grade team, John Parent, is also
on the St. Charles Boys Volleyball team.
St. Charles won the state
title last year (2009) and finished as runners-up this
year (2010). All 3 boys made tremendous
contributions to the success of the team this year.
